A Data Use Agreement is required for any individual-level, de-identified data request to ensure that data are used in accordance with state and federal law.
Once Data Use Agreements have been executed and contracts established, DataSpark can begin preparing your data. Legal documents can take up to 6 months to execute, depending on the complexity of the request and the queue of agency/URI/researcher legal counsels.
No Data Use Agreement is needed, although agency review of the data request as well as review of outgoing aggregate data suppression is part of the process. The data preparation could take up to 6 weeks to complete, potentially longer depending on the current DataSpark queue.
