HEALTH GRADUATES IN RI'S WORKFORCE

Graduates comprise individuals earning degrees and certifications from the spring term of 2005 through the spring term of 2015 (which was the most recent term data available at the time of publication). Degrees and certificates reported here only reflect:

• those with a field of study recorded;
• the most recently-earned certificate or degree for each graduate;
• primary field of study;
• those from RI in-state public institutions (URI, RIC, and CCRI);
• those for students who graduate in a term in which they were registered (a small number do not).

• Information based on employment records from Q4 2011 through Q3 2015, which was the full time range of the data available at the time of publication.
• For individuals with more than one employer in a given quarter, the industry is only counted for the employer paying the most wages (in total) during the quarter.
• This data set does not include employment information for military jobs, federal government jobs, jobs outside of RI, and jobs with the limited number of private employers that do not participate in the Unemployment Insurance System.
• Note that this data story examines industries, but not specific professions.
